Creme Cakery was founded in 2013 by Chef Hoang Nguyen.
She enjoys baking from scratch, using only fresh and quality ingredients, and creating beautiful pieces of edible art. 

Chef Nguyen has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Washington University in St. Louis, an MBA from UT– Austin,
and a Pastry Arts Certificate from Austin Community College.

While in culinary school, Chef Nguyen interned at one of the top wedding cake makers in Austin. This experience instilled her
with the ability to produce attention-grabbing wedding cakes.

At the conclusion of Chef Nguyen's first cake competition in Austin, "That Takes the Cake," she won multiple medals:

  • 1st Place: Buttercream Technique
  • 1st Place: Chocolate Technique
  • 3rd Place: Special Technique – Decoration
